Panda Education Free Student Event Report –Making Zongzi (rice dumplings)

PandaEducation hosted a unique and engaging free cultural experience, inviting Ms. Yu Juyi, a renowned expert hailing from Huzhou, the hometown of Chinese Zongzi (rice dumplings), to guide international students in crafting their own Zongzi by hand. Throughout the event, Ms. Yu patiently imparted her skills, and the students, filled with awe and curiosity for traditional Chinese culture, eagerly participated in every step, from selecting ingredients to neatly wrapping the rice dumplings. As diverse shapes and sizes of Zongzi emerged, the venue was filled with laughter and joy.

As the activity drewto a close, each participant was gifted with century-old Zongzi from the prestigious Wufangzhai brand, a dual treat for both the palate and the soul.

 

All students' events at Panda Education are free of charged.
