Zhujiajiao Water Town
Located near Shanghai, Zhujiajiao is a1,700-year-old ancient water town known as the "Venice of Shanghai."
Its charming canals, stone bridges (like the iconic Fangsheng Bridge), and Ming-Qing dynasty architecture reflect traditional Jiangnan culture. Visitors can stroll along cobblestone lanes, cruise by boat, explore historic gardens, and savor local delicacies like rice dumplings and braised pork. A perfect blend of history, scenery, and authentic local life, it offers a peaceful escape from the city.
Panda Education has specially planned the "Explore Jiangnan Water Town · Experience Cultural Beauty" one-day tour to Zhujiajiao. We sincerely invite you to enjoy the ancient town's charm and share this wonderful time together!
Details of the event are as follows:
Date: 19 April 2025
Time: 10:00 - 16:00
Leader: Mr. Shen Peigao, a senior Chinese teacherfrom Penda Education (able to provide services in Chinese, English and Japanese)
Seats: There are 16 seats available for thisevent, exclusively for current students of Penda Education on a first-come, first-served basis. If family members of the students wish to join, an additional fee of 100 yuan per person is required.
Cost: All entrance fees for the scenic spotsduring this tour will be covered by Penda Education. (Lunch is at the students' own expense)
Special Note: This tour involves a considerableamount of walking, so it is not recommended for children under the age of 10 to participate.
Tour Arrangement:
10:00 Gather at Exit 1 of Zhuojiajiao Station onMetro Line 17.
10:00 - 16:00 Visit the ancient town, includingfive paid attractions: Keshi Garden, Hexinyuan, Shanghai Helong Art Museum, Yuanjin Chan Temple, and City God Temple (all tickets are covered by Panda
Education).
12:00 - 13:00 Lunch. Participants can choose fromvarious local delicacies and snacks in Zhuojiajiao at their own expense.
16:00 The tour leader will escort allparticipants to Exit 1 of Zhuojiajiao Station on Metro Line 17, and the tour concludes.
Special Gift: Each participant will receive aspecial gift carefully prepared by Pande Education.
